Spend some time learning a new skill printing with our beautiful collection of hand carved blocks. After a demonstration of the printing process and design placement you will start your practice piece on some cloth and and then you will then have the opportunity to choose a tote or drawstring bag to print after you have selected your favourite block and paints.

Who is this workshop suitable for?
Join us for our popular introduction to Indian Block Printing. You will be taught the techniques required to print on fabric and paper so no experience is necessary.
The workshop will start with an introduction to the techniques and range of materials that you can print on followed by a quick demonstration.
You will then rummage through our collection of blocks choosing a section of prints to get started with and a selection of textile paints so you can start printing yourself on some practice fabric and then you can choose to print either a Tote bag or a drawstring bag.
Additional items are available to purchase to continue printing
This workshop is suitable for age 14 and over .
What should I bring to the workshop?
Just yourself, we will provide you with an apron and all materials. However do not wear your best clothes as you may get messy!.
Refreshments, Tea, Coffee and biscuits are included in the price of the workshop along with all materials you use.
What will I take home?
You will get to take home your Tote or Drawstring bag and any cards or items that you have made.
