ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
Where mindful making meets meditation
In this calm and nurturing online workshop, you will create your own beautiful hand-stitched finger labyrinth using a piece of pre printed linen, variegated embroidery floss and a bamboo embroidery hoop. You will be guided step by step from the comfort of your own home.
Finger labyrinths have been used for centuries as tools for reflection, relaxation and inner stillness. Slowly stitching, and later tracing the winding path of the labyrinth can quiet the mind, regulate the nervous system and bring a deep, grounding sense of calm focus.
The workshop opens with a gentle grounding exercise and short meditation led by Jacqueline, helping you to settle fully into your body and the creative process. You will then be guided through every stitch at a relaxed, unhurried pace. No previous sewing experience is needed whatsoever.
We close by learning how to use your completed labyrinth as a personal wellbeing tool and by setting an intention to carry with you.
